Klopp delighted with Reds' pre-season progress

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is delighted with the progress his team has made during pre-season.

The Reds have won all three of their friendlies so far, scoring 10 goals and conceding just one.

Klopp said: "I'm really happy with how the pre-season has gone so far. The players have worked hard and they're starting to gel as a team. We're creating a lot of chances and we're scoring goals, which is pleasing. We're also defending well, which is important."

Salah scores again as Liverpool beat Lyon

Mohamed Salah scored the only goal as Liverpool beat Lyon in their final pre-season friendly.

The Egyptian forward scored in the first half with a fine finish from the edge of the area.

Liverpool dominated the game and created a number of chances, but they were unable to add to their lead.

Liverpool sign Konate from RB Leipzig

Liverpool have signed defender Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.

The 22-year-old Frenchman has signed a five-year contract with the Reds.

Konate is a highly-rated defender and is expected to be a key player for Liverpool in the coming seasons.

Liverpool linked with move for Bellingham

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The 18-year-old Englishman is one of the most highly-rated young players in the world.

It is believed that Liverpool are willing to pay up to £100 million for Bellingham, who is contracted to Dortmund until 2025.

Liverpool's Premier League fixtures for the 2022/23 season have been announced.

The Reds will begin their campaign at home to Fulham on Saturday, August 6th.
