Coming Off a National Championship Win
The South Dakota State Jackrabbits football team is coming off a historic season in which they won their second consecutive FCS National Championship. The Jackrabbits defeated the defending champion North Dakota State Bison 45-21 in the title game, and they also won the Missouri Valley Football Conference championship.
Upcoming Games
The Jackrabbits will open their 2023 season on August 26th against the Drake Bulldogs. They will then host the Incarnate Word Cardinals on September 2nd before traveling to play the Kansas Jayhawks on September 9th.
Roster
The Jackrabbits return a number of key players from last year's championship team, including quarterback Mark Gronowski, running back Pierre Strong, and wide receiver Jaxon Janke.
