The Mar-a-Lago Club opened in 1994 and operates as a luxurious resort club and national historic landmark in Palm Beach, Florida. As a primary business occupying the estate, the club offers an exclusive retreat for its members and upscale amenities such as a private beach, golf course, and spa.

The club was formerly owned by cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post. She had the property designed by architect Joseph Urban in the style of a Spanish-Moorish palace and completed in 1927. The property became a National Historic Landmark in 1980 and was purchased by former US President Donald Trump in 1985.

The Mar-a-Lago Club has been a frequent vacation spot and residence for Trump since he left office. It has also been the site of several controversial events, including a meeting between Trump and Russian officials in 2016 and a rally where Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol in 2021.
